Indoor wooden play-house for children

SOFIA was designed with my daughter in mind and a wish to create space for her where she can grow her imagination, independence and responsibility by co-creating a house from the inside.

SOFIA is more then a space. It is a continuously unfinished play & sleep house where each child's imagination defines its purpose.

It is designed to encourage development of fine motorics, creative and logical thinking, individuality and team work. And all this is possible under the real summer star constellation, where kids are also introduced to basic astronomy.

Every child is a universe by itself, let them explore it and discover every bit of their potential.

Because I wanted to create a multiple-purpose space, SOFIA has a magnetic black board and a star constellation, both to encourage the inquisitive mind and creativity natural in children. If you add a standard mattress it can also turn into a day-bed – and who would not like to sleep under the stars?
